"Luckily reach before 6pm, managed to get a table for 8 of us. Cheese Prawn mee hoon is good, tofu fish is also worth trying."

"Visited on 3rd Oct 2025 Dinner All food were served piping hot in claypot. Cheese prawn mee hoon is unique and delicious. But pork belly soup is too peppery for my liking. My two year old ate well on the high chair provided and eating food like fish maw which he normally don’t eat. Lastly, the down side of service is that they do not have lazy Susan for a huge table and we cannot move around the hot claypot dishes to share"

"A popular chinese cuisine restaurant. Ordered Yam chicken, fish maw soup, claypot potato leaves, ginger fillet and taiwan style pork with garlic. Yam chicken is flavoured with the taste of yam. Something different from the usual chinese cooking style. Sweet potato leaves is alright, nothing too special and no surprises. Ginger fillet is very fresh, this is good if you like ginger, the fillet are literally swimming in the ginger paste / gravy. Very strong ginger smell and taste. Those not a fan of ginger may find it too pungent. The gravy goes well with rice. Taiwan style pork is another something different. It has a sour sweet taste which is appetising. For those who are particular, there is no porky smell or taste. Located in a secluded commercial shop house area just near the bridge linking to Pulau Melaka. It may be some what secluded but locals and Singaporeans knows abouth this place and by 7 to 8pm, the place is full house. Come early if you want to get seats especially for large group. Parking wise, plenty. You can park slightly further away as the whole shop house area are quite empty so wont be blocking any business or anyone, just dont double park blocking other cars."

"Good food, serve most if not all in clay pot. The lala (clam) pepper soup is good with seafood freshness taste; salted fish pork belly is another dish that's best with rice."

"Been here a couple of times, almost everytime when we visit Melaka, we would come. Food's portion is decent and prices reasonable. Piping hot for all dished when served (claypot). Lady server was very accommodative, and advised us to order a tofu with prawn and added fish as we were contemplating to order both. She felt that we have ordered too many dishes for 2 adults and 2 pax, so she suggested to create the special order, which we loved. Spring onion and fish + tofu matches well!"

"All dishes were in claypot. We ordered all small portion. Small portion is good for 2 to 3 pax. Pork leg looked very well seasoned, perfect to pair with rice. Both the tofu and vegetable looked plain, however tasted very savoury, can eat it on its own. Price affordable, many locals came here for meals."
